I'm scooping out fish from the sea.
To the left, shelves stretch out in a long line.
And I lift a long pole in the middle.
The sea extends to the right.

It looks like the South Pacific.
The water is a clear, sky-blue color, and deep.
Oh. This place has a roof, like some dome gymnasium.
But it's very wide.

The fish swim by in a school.
I put the pole in, lift it with all my might,
and throw it against the left wall.
The fish caught in the net on the squid hook
fall into the left shelf.

Anchovies. We catch a lot of them.
I think I catch about a hundred at a time.

- "So this is how you catch them. This works..."
I finally understood after trying it myself.
And I work even harder, pushing the wooden pole in.

When the shelves are full of anchovies, a local boy comes and organizes them. I continue to fish the school of fish passing right in front of me with my rod, scooping them out.

This time, a tuna is caught.
It's huge, the size of a person's torso.
Catching tuna with a net...

I feel good. Excited.
I lift the rod again.
And this time, a flounder comes up.
Wow... It's like I'm just pulling the fish out of the water.

- I think I caught a lot today. I should stop now.
I stop fishing.
