My daughter and I climb some stairs.

These are stairs leading to the upper floors of an old shopping center.

It looks like there are three to five floors inside.

We're guided up by a woman to buy some gift certificates.

The line on the right is long.
There aren't many people on the left.

We're guided up the stairs to the left.

And we arrive at the desk in front of the entrance on the last floor.

We buy two cup ramen at the desk.

My daughter unwrapped one of them, ready to eat.

"Wait a minute. We came here to buy gift certificates."

"Here, please exchange one unopened cup ramen for a gift certificate."

I suddenly remembered I came here to buy gift certificates, not cup ramen.

My daughter likes cup ramen.

Inside the office, there's a reception table
and a sofa.

And to the right is another room,
where the men are working. "This isn't right."

The men are talking among themselves.

Something's not right with the gift certificate we're trying to buy with cup ramen.
So they start discussing it among themselves.

"What's your name? What did you say?"
"Charles, Charles." I answer loudly enough for them to hear.

After hearing my name, they look something up,
and finally sell me the bond.
I add 20,000 won to the purchase.

My daughter bought one unopened cup ramen for 10,000 won, and another unopened one for 10,000 won, for an additional 20,000 won. In total, I bought 30,000 won worth of bonds.
