I'm on the bus.
I'm standing inside.
A cool breeze comes in through the window.
I stare blankly out the window, watching the bus pass by.
"Who are those kids going to work?"
asks the man sitting on the right side of the back row, pulling out a yogurt.
I quickly reach out and take it.
Me and the three or four kids next to me are going to work.
The man then takes out a plastic bag of yogurt and hands it to us.
We look to be about teenage boys.
I'm completely at a loss,
at the sudden, unexpected gift.
We have to get off now.
I try to figure out how to thank the man who gave me the yogurt.
The bus is about to pull away, and the door is about to close.
Perhaps seeing me like this, the man shouts,
"Just call me!"
He suggests we'll find another way to contact him.
I get off. Hearing that, I wondered.
An old man was writing his name, Song Jae-ho, 010-, on a sign,
and his contact information below it, and was driving it into the ground.
It seems he's using that name and contact information...
I follow the people in front of me.
The sign is next to a fence. Inside the fence is a house.
This is the countryside, and it's where my aunt's cousins live.
It seems to double as an inn.
The roof is rough, but it's large.
There's a restaurant, guest rooms, and other facilities.
We pass in front of this building.
It's surrounded by fields. It looks like a rural area.
There are rice paddies. To the left is a mountain.
"A DJ brought in 15 boxes before, didn't he?"
My aunt's cousin says.
We follow the path along the field and head toward the mountain.
There's a huge cave with a wide entrance in the mountain. The animals are planted with yellow rhizomes.
The front is a bit messy. Someone must have ripped it up.
The front looks to be over 200 pyeong (approximately 660 sq ft). The green stems are well-grown,
and yellow flowers are blooming at the tips.
Still, the crops seem to be doing well.
- They only shot at the entrance here.
Someone says.
They've messed up the entrance here a bit.
We walk to the back.
It looks like they've already harvested it, with only the stems remaining.
The yellow flowers are nowhere to be seen.
And the flower garden continues to the right.
- If you keep blowing on it, the flowers will always bloom...
My aunt says.
We'll probably harvest the remaining flowers in the front here.
