Two male-female pairs meet to face off against each other. > Bonds Gallery

A man in a gray robe walks along, then stops to look for a die.
A woman is beside him, assisting him.

They are in a terraced rice field—one where the harvest has already concluded. It is afternoon, and the sun is setting, bringing darkness.
"Just a moment." She searches for the die.
This is no ordinary die; it guarantees a win whenever he plays a game or makes a wager.
It possesses some form of inner energy or a special ability.
She feels around inside the fabric draped over the man's shoulder to locate it.
"I had it sewn inside the clothing here."
"Thanks."
It seems they had concealed it within the garment beforehand, like a secret item.

They enter an alleyway in a city.
A large rock sits on one side of the narrow alley.
It is evening now, and the surroundings have grown dark.

The man and woman lean their elbows against the rock, bringing their shoulders close together.
There is a crystal embedded in the center of the rock, emitting a glow from within.
"It’s going to get cold."
"It looks like they arrived first..."

Finally, the two of them step into a room.
There is a table in the center.
A man and a woman from the opposing team are there as well.

The two teams have gathered here for a wager or a contest.
However, the man on the opposing team doesn't look particularly formidable.
He appears weak and somewhat clueless; it seems he is there merely to protect the woman on his team.
Holding a lantern, this man...

...looks at the woman on our team, who appears exhausted. They seem excited, as if something fascinates them. They are not the serious type.
I am observing them from an omniscient perspective.
